Natu Parikh

 

Natu Parikh was born in 1931 and has a Bachelors of Arts degree from Gujarat university, in 1954, an Art Master Diploma, in 1961, G. D. Art Painting Gujarat in 1962 and done his M.A Art Criticism M.S. U. Baroda, in 1962. Natu Parikh is an artist who is also actively involved in the academic and theoretical aspect of making art. He has written articles on the aspects of painting and creativity in newspapers and magazines. He has also conducted seminars on art education and landscape painting. It could be the lyrical form of the trees or the undulating lines of a mountain, or the unusual aerial view to create a painting that is unique. For him color is also important he follows the Impressionists view that color should used in its pure form and do justice to the play of light.  He lives and works in Ahmedabad.
