Vrindavan Solanki

 

Vrindavan Solanki was born in Junagadh, Gujarat in  1942. He studied Diploma in Painting from M.S. University, Vadodara in 1980, In 1982 he has completed his Post Diploma in Graphics, M.S. University, Vadodara. He was Visiting faculty in NID, Ahmedabad during 1982-87. He was a member of Lalit Kala Academy, Gujarat; 1987-90. From 1969 he exhibited his works across major art galleries of India and also in abroad, including; In 1969, first solo show at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, In 1981, Drawings, Taj Art Gallery, Mumbai; In 1991, Drawings, The Continetal Hotel Curepipe, Mauritius. He has also participated in many group shows including; In 1970, 35th Annual Art Exhibition, Academy of Fine Arts, Calcutta; In 2004, Multiple Encounters, Manhattan Graphics Centre, New-York, USA; In 2004, Art Trend Galleria, Hong-Kong.
