An original work on canvas by Bharti Prajapati.

She has derived the essence of her painting from a doha by Kabir.
With a fast and competitive lifestyle, it's indeed a soul soothing experience to absorb some wise words from a great saint, philosopher and guide.

Maati kahe kumbhar so, kya ti roondhe mohi.
Ekdin aisa hoyega, mai roondhungi tohe.

Kabir has imparted wisdom with a simple dialogue between the clay and potter,
The clay asks the potter, who are to shape me,
a day will come when I will shape you.
This earth sustains us, we depend on earth for our survival.
As humans we are born and perish, we emerge and dissolve in the earth.
Our soul passes away and body turned to dust.
We are born out of the elements, and go back to the elements.

This beautiful metaphor of life is an ultimate example of Kabir’s knowledge
and genius to contact the common man with the divine.
