An original work on canvas by Bharti Prajapati.

She has derived the essence of her painting from a doha by Kabir.
With a fast and competitive lifestyle, it's indeed a soul soothing experience to absorb some wise words from a great saint, philosopher and guide.

Kanchan diya karan ne, draupadi diya chir.
Jo diya so paiya, aiasa kahe kabir.
Dharm kiye dhan na ghate, nadi na ghate nir.
Apni aakhen dhekhi le, yo kathi kahahe kabir.

To give is to get, the act of kindness and generosity
eventually bears fruit.
Mahabharat says Karan gave away all his possessions,
Draupadi gave away her modesty.
Hence being compassionate will not diminish your wealth,
just as giving away water does not dry the river.
Kabir says this is the truth for all to see,
give with open hands and see the magic unfold.
