An original work on canvas by Bharti Prajapati.

She has derived the essence of her painting from a doha by Kabir.
With a fast and competitive lifestyle, it's indeed a soul soothing experience to absorb some wise words from a great saint, philosopher and guide.

Dharti phate megh mile, kapda phate dor,
tann phate ko aushadhi, mann phate nahi thour.
Likha mite nahi karam ka, guru kar bhaj hari naam,
seedhe marag nit chale, daya dharam visram.

Kabir says parched earth is content with rains,
torn fabric can be stitched with thread.
The body when unwell is restored with medicine,
but a disturbed mind can never be at peace.
Hence be calm and wise.
Whatever is destined has to happen, we have no control over it.
Seek a spiritual guide and connect with the divine.
Live a life of discipline, compassion, devotion and you will be at peace.
