An original work on canvas by Bharti Prajapati.

She has derived the essence of her painting from a doha by Kabir.
With a fast and competitive lifestyle, it's indeed a soul soothing experience to absorb some wise words from a great saint, philosopher and guide.

Maya mari na mann mara,
mar mar gaye sharir.
Aasha trishna na mari,
kah gaye daas Kabir.

Kabir says 'maya' that is materialistic wealth,
and 'mann' the desire never dies.
Though the body dies 'aasha' the need to posses,
'rishna' the desire to want more and more lives forever.
The reason for all the turmoil and pain in human is need and greed.
Despite having all the materialistic possessions,
craving for more and illusion of not having enough
is the root cause of disillusion and dissatisfaction.
