An original work on canvas by Bharti Prajapati.

She has derived the essence of her painting from a doha by Kabir.
With a fast and competitive lifestyle, it's indeed a soul soothing experience to absorb some wise words from a great saint, philosopher and guide.

Paani mei hai meen piyaasi, mohi sun sun aave haasi.
Aatam gyaan bina nar bhatke, koi mathura koi kaashi.
Mirgaa naabhi baase kasturi, ban ban phirat udaasi.
Kahai Kabir suno bhai saadho, guru bin bharam na jaasi.

Search within is all that Kabir says,
without looking within there is no wisdom.
Like a fish thirsty in the water.
Like a musk deer restless in search of aroma.
We are ignorant of the true self.
Kabir insists this illusion will not fade,
without the guiding spirit of an enlightened teacher.
