A contemporary artist based in Vadodara, India. He is a graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, and worked in advertising for fifteen years before fully committing to an independent art practice. Since 2025, Sharma has been working primarily with sponge foam, using it as both surface and structure to explore form through carving, layering, and controlled intervention. His works examine material pressure, use, and gradual transformation through sustained contact and exposure over time.
The practice focuses on how forms register erosion, internal exposure, and accumulated presence. Sharma has held a solo exhibition at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Vadodara (2023), and has participated in group exhibitions including 1×1×9, 3rd Edition. His work reflects an ongoing investigation into material behaviour and the quiet tension embedded within form.
