
Born in 1999, Baroda, India, is a contemporary sculptor whose practice navigates the delicate intersections of ceramics and drawing. Based in Baroda, she earned her Master’s (2024) and Bachelor’s (2022) degrees in Sculpture from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
Her work serves as a psychological inquiry, translating the weight of suppressed emotions and the remnants of the subconscious into tactile forms. Her process-driven approach explores how internal states of mind and hidden narratives manifest through the vulnerability of clay and line.
Dhruvi was a recipient of the Abir First Take (2023) and the Best Display Award by the Maati Foundation (2024). Her work has been showcased in cities, including Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Goa. Following a residency at Sandarbh (Rajasthan), she is currently a resident artist at vis-à-vis studio, Baroda, where she continues her practice.
