Hee Bae

Born in South Korea received an MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute (2007) and a BFA from Korea University (2004). Her recent solo exhibitions include Over the Mountain (two-person show, Space Sophora, Seoul, 2025), MuDeungDeung (Eve Gallery, Seoul, 2024), and Dual Sun (two-person show, Camerata, Paju, 2023).

She has actively exhibited in Korea and India, with recent group exhibitions such as Counting Lights and Three Beginnings (Gallery Vit, Seoul, 2025), Blended and Blend (Nexus Art, Ahmedabad, 2023), and Baroda March (Stainless Gallery, New Delhi, 2022–2023).

Her work has been shown internationally across Asia, Europe, and the United States. She was awarded the Artist Fund by the Incheon Art Council (2018–2019) and has participated in multiple residencies, including Samtan Art Mine (Korea), HOM Art Residency (Malaysia), and international exchange programs in New Zealand.
