Heeral Trivedi

Born in 1973, Mumbai, is a contemporary Indian artist based in Vadodara, Gujarat. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, in 1995 and 1997. Trivedi’s practice is deeply rooted in drawing and painting, unfolding through themes of memory, femininity, inner worlds, and the quiet poetics of everyday experience.

She has held several significant solo exhibitions, including The Magic Thread (2023, Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai; 2024, Creative Conscious Community, Mumbai), Pages of a Bibliophile’s Diary (2021), and Wings That Raise Me Higher (2018). Her work has been widely shown in major group exhibitions and art projects across India and internationally, with presentations in New York, London, Tokyo, Singapore, and Bali.
 
A recipient of the National Scholarship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the Gujarat Lalit Kala Academy Award, Trivedi has also contributed to art discourse through published writings and curated exhibitions. She continues to actively engage with workshops, residencies, and art camps, maintaining a sustained and reflective practice from her studio in Vadodara.
