It is believed that the Rabaris living in Kutch are devotees of Krishna. In mourning for Krishna's departure, they prefer to wear black clothes even today. Like other communities of Kutch—such as the Mutwa, Ahir, and Jat—the Rabaris are also highly skilled in colourful embroidery.
