Maan Osha Chitta
Similar to the Moradiya wall paintings of Rajasthan, rural women of Orissa decorate the exterior walls of their homes using a liquid paste made from ground rice after the rice crop is ready. Because of 'Maan'—the traditional vessel used for measuring grain—this painting is called Maan Osha (Festival) - Chitta (Painting). In the painting, the arrangement of three dots depicts that abundant grain has been harvested.

This photograph is signed, inscribed and stamped by the artist. The paper size is 13 x 19 inches, image size is 11 x 17.5 inches.
Signed as A/P (Artist Proof).
