Maan Osha Chitta
Similar to the Moradiya wall paintings of Rajasthan, rural women of Orissa decorate the exterior walls of their homes using a liquid paste made from ground rice after the rice crop is ready. Because of 'Maan'—the traditional vessel used for measuring grain—this painting is called Maan Osha (Festival) - Chitta (Painting).
