In India, vessels made by baking clay has now gradually been taken over by metal vessels. Even in small villages, the use of metal or plastic vessels has been increasing. This image was taken during the fair held at the time of Chaitri Navratri at the Mahalaxmi Temple, located near the border connecting Gujarat and Maharashtra.
