Born in 1994, is a Bangalore-based textile artist whose practice combines multidisciplinary skills, artistic exploration, and a commitment to ethical textile practices. She creates innovative, textile-forward mixed media works that push the boundaries of traditional craft and contemporary art. Central to her practice is the development of a distinctive visual language, achieved through the fusion of techniques such as handloom weaving, hand embroidery, painting, and digital drawing. Her MFA from the Royal College of Art, London, and undergraduate studies at Srishti MAHE, Bangalore, have equipped her to seamlessly integrate diverse materials and processes, producing works that are both visually compelling and conceptually layered. Through her art, Shenoy transforms textiles into narrative surfaces, weaving stories of human connection, memory, and lived experience into each piece. Shenoy’s work has been showcased internationally at venues including the Z33 Museum in Belgium, Unit 1 Gallery in London with Sanne Vaassen, London Craft Week (2020, 2022, 2025), Hackney Gallery, and the Royal College of Art 2020 show at The Bargehouse, London. She has also participated in major group exhibitions in India, and her work has been featured in international publications. Collaborations with luxury brands such as Aranyani, Vaya Home, and Himatsingka Seide, along with freelance projects in the UK for GP & J Baker, Rare Thread, and Zoffany, demonstrate her ability to merge heritage techniques with contemporary design while supporting artisans and local communities. She is also a guest faculty member at the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore. She lives and works in Bangalore.
