Sagar Joshi

Born in Mumbai, Joshi is a self-taught artist, he completed his Art Teacher diploma from Kala Vidya Sankul in 2006. He has participated in a group exhibition on Mix Media at Kala Vidya Sankul, Mumbai.

He has been a part of ‘Abhivyakti- Edition 3 festival’ held in Ahmedabad in 2020. His first group show was with Archer Art Gallery, ‘Reflective Reveries - Art Amidst the Chaos’, 2020. He has also taught at different Art Institutions in Ahmedabad over the years. The key theme of his works is happiness and the joy of little things in life. He is inspired by the circus, which provides excitement not only to children but also adults find it amusing.
The artist lives and works in Ahmedabad.
