Born in 1939, Ahmedabad. He has completed his Art Masters from Sheth C. N. Fine Arts College. He won many national and international awards including: He was awarded by National Academy Award, New Delhi in 1995, Punjab Lalitkala Academy, Chandigarh in 1995, Gujarat State Lalitkala Academy, Ahmedabad in 1969, 1978, 1979, 1982, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1993. Municipal Corporation Award in 1975, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991. International Religious Painting Award in 1980, 1984. All India Railway Painting Competition in 1969 at New Delhi. He has participated in group shows at Ahmedabad in 1972, 1973, 1979, 1982, 1984, 1992-97, also in Mumbai, Calcutta, Delhi, Orissa, Madras, Vidhyanagar. He has held many solo exhibitions at Mumbai in 1972, 1974, 1977, 1992, 1993 at Ahmedabad in 1972, 1974, 1977, 1990, 1991-96. He has exhibited his works in London, Dubai in 1978, 1992, 1995. He has contributed his art in the form of Mural at Asia English High School Ahmedabad, School of Architecture Ahmedabad, 50th Inependence day of India Painting, Ahmedabad. He has participated in artist’s workshop: International Artist Group in 1970, 1975. Graphic’s workshop in 1979. Gujarat State Lalitkala Academy in 1979, 1984, 1987....
